Welcome to EF!



Please note EF Visa Team will assist you with the immigration process in China. First thing before arrival is to upload all your information and documents to the EF Visa Portal so that we can submit online application for you based on the information and documents uploaded.

Before Arrival

Step#1
  • Online Application for Work Permit Notification Letter
    (processing time: 15 working days)
  • After you upload all the required information and documents to the EF Visa Portal, we will submit your application and it will take around 15 working days to receive your Work Permit Notification Letter.
Step#2
  • Z Visa at Chinese Embassy/Consulate Overseas
    (processing time: 5-7 working days)
  • Please apply for Z Visa at your local Chinese Embassy/Consulate once you receive your Work Permit Notification Letter.

After Arrival

Step#3
  • Registration Form of Temporary Residence
    (processing time: no more than half day)
  • All international staff must register their living address within 24 hours after their arrival in China.

Step#4
  • Medical Check
    (processing time: half day to conduct medical check)
  • We will arrange a medical check for you after your arrival in China. Please inform your arrival date once you book the flight ticket.

  • Work Permit & Residence Permit application
    (processing time: 23 working days)
  • All international staff must hold both Work Permit and Residence Permit to legally work in China.
